Advice

Litigation Services

Whether you're seeking enforcement of a court order from Scotland, Northern Ireland, or elsewhere in the UK, we apply the most appropriate legal methods to ensure compliance and maximise recovery. From instructing Sheriff Officers in Scotland to engaging High Court Enforcement Officers in England and Wales, every case is handled with professionalism, efficiency, and full adherence to legal procedures.

Types of Enforcement:

Northern Ireland – Decree Enforcement

In Northern Ireland, we enforce court Decrees through the Enforcement of Judgments Office (EJO), which operates under specific procedures, including:

  • Attachment of Earnings – Direct recovery from the debtor’s employer.

  • Seizure Orders – Authorises the removal of goods to satisfy the debt.

  • Instalment Orders – Allows recovery through structured payments.

  • Order Charging Land – Places a legal charge over the debtor’s property.

  • Garnishee Orders – Freezes and redirects money from a third party (e.g., a bank) to the creditor.

We process all unpaid decrees through the Enforcement of Judgments Office, working closely with legal representatives to ensure effective enforcement and full compliance with Northern Irish law
